“After a few years in academic research, I joined Saint-Gobain in 2015 as a Senior Research Engineer in the group of Forming & 3D Printing (Processing and Technology CRL) at the Northboro R & D Center (NRDC).

My daily job consists in supporting multiple projects for Saint-Gobain’s Business Units in the field of ceramic and polymer processing. Solving problems, bringing new solutions and helping our internal customers stay tuned with the most advanced techniques is particularly challenging and requires a lot of agility and experience, which I can hopefully leverage from the senior members of our group. I also lead more fundamental projects, in fields where our company is not present yet. In those, I am curious to look at innovative and unique solutions. I also have the opportunity to act like an entrepreneur, which I was missing in my previous roles in academia.

Since the very first day, I have been amazed by the diversity of people’s culture, background and expertise at Saint-Gobain. This environment is very favorable to creativity. People also demonstrate a great sense of leadership, responsibility and solidarity, which are crucial to the demonstration and success of everyone’s projects. Overall, I have the great opportunity to work with talented people willing to share their most valuable resource: knowledge, a resource that can never be exhausted as long as it is shared!”
